ASSEK SINUS LIFT KIT B

Discover the ASSEK LIFT B Kit for sinus lifting without risk of membrane perforation, accessible to general practitioners.

From 4 to 10 mm of sinus bone

Zero perforation of the sinus membrane

Safe and Predictable Penetration

The concave head and fixed stoppers ensure a controlled approach, minimizing the risk of perforating or tearing the sinus membrane.

No Need for a Membrane

Eliminating membrane placement reduces overall treatment costs and streamlines the surgical process.

Improved Clinical Outcomes

The combination of precision instruments and enhanced grafting materials results in better long-term implant stability and patient satisfaction.

Protocol

1. Site preparation

Begin by making a full-thickness flap by making a slightly displaced palatal crestal incision. Make two small releasing incisions, one mesial and one distal.

2. Location of the point of impact

Identify the impact point for the implant, which is located at the location of the hole made during stage A. It is easily located thanks to the hydroxyapatite crystals visible on the surface.

3. Preparation of the implant

Mount a BY S 4 (length) 2.8 mm diameter bur on a contra-angle intended for the implantology micro-lathe. Set the working speed between 800 and 1000 rpm, while ensuring external irrigation.

4. Creation of the sluice

Drill a 4 mm long hole with a BY S.

5. Osteotomes

Take a 3.2 mm diameter osteotome and set the stop to 5 mm.
If the osteotome stop touches the bony crest, you have already pushed back the membrane. Then set your osteotome to 6 mm, then 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm and 10 mm to push back the membrane, adding 1 mm at each step.

6. Readjustment according to the situation

If the osteotome stop remains at a distance from the bony crest, take a BYS 5 burr of 2.8 mm diameter and 5 mm length, then drill a 5 mm hole. Then use an osteotome of 3.2 mm diameter and 6 mm length. If the osteotome stop pushes the crest, you have already pushed back the membrane.

7. Apatite Bond Graft

Activate the Bond Apatite syringe and deposit the material into a sterile container. Apply a dry compress to the material to absorb excess liquid. Fill the bone-bearing syringe and then deposit the Bond Apatite into the mouth of the sluice.

8. Implant placement

Use a 3.2 mm osteotome with the stop set to the height of the last osteotome used to push the membrane back, minus 1 mm.
Repeat this process, making sure to remove 1 mm of the osteotome at each step. Then place the implant and suture to complete the procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can use ASSEK A & B?

These kits are intended for dentists, oral surgeons, implantologists, and periodontists performing sinus elevation procedures.

How does ASSEK prevent membrane perforation?

The kit includes diamond burs with fixed stoppers (1-4 mm) and osteotomes with dynamic stoppers, ensuring precise depth control to prevent sinus membrane perforation.

How long does the healing process take after using ASSEK?

Due to the minimally invasive nature of the ASSEK system and the use of calcium sulfate, healing time is typically shorter than traditional sinus elevation methods.

Can ASSEK A & B be used in patients with severe bone loss?
