Protocole
1. Crestal incision
Make a slightly displaced palatal crestal incision to access the bony crest
2. Flap detachment
Mount the BY 1 bur on a micro motor with external irrigation (800 to 1000 rpm). Drill the hole until the bur stop contacts the bone crest.
3. Preparation with drill BY 1
Peel off a full thickness flap to expose the work area.
4. Using BY 2 drill
Mount the BY 2 bur on a micro motor with external irrigation (800 to 1000 rpm). Drill the hole until the bur stop contacts the bone crest.
5. Osteotomes
Adjust the osteotome to the height of the last BY bur used. Penetrate the osteotome into the hole until the stop contacts the crest.
Add 1 mm of height, then penetrate again. Repeat the operation adding 5 to 6 mm of osteotomes to the residual crest height.
6. Membrane pushback
Once the membrane has been pushed back 5-6 mm, use a syringe of Bond Apatite. Place the material in the sterile tray. Press with a dry compress on the Bond Apatite for 3-4 seconds to aspirate the residual liquid.
7. Filling with Bond Apatite
Fill the bone-bearing syringe with Bond Apatite. Bring the material to the edge of the hole. Deposit material at the entrance of the hole. Remove 1 mm of the last osteotome height by adjusting the stop. Penetrate the Bond Apatite into the hole until the stop contacts the crest.
Repeat this action adding material to the entrance of the hole and pushing the Bond Apatite carefully.
8. Closure
Close the hole with a final layer of Bond Apatite.
Press firmly with a compress. Suture.
